The emanation from the eruptions of a super-volcano will form a cloud of gases that will prevent the sun from penetrating the earth[‘s atmosphere], and this will cause a greenhouse effect. Temperatures will decrease so much that in tropical countries will cause a number of deaths. Moving from one country to another will be impossible and humanity will feel that its progress has been of no use. You, my children, do not lose faith: what man will not be capable of doing, Divine omnipotence will do. It will be an event for all the children on earth, but you are going to experience it differently. He says to the snow, “Fall to the earth”; likewise to his heavy, drenching rain. He shuts up all humankind indoors, so that all people may know his work. The wild beasts take to cover and remain quiet in their dens. Out of its chamber the tempest comes forth; from the north winds, the cold. With his breath God brings the frost, and the broad waters congeal. The clouds too are laden with moisture, the storm-cloud scatters its light. He it is who changes their rounds, according to his plans, to do all that he commands them across the inhabited world. Whether for punishment or mercy, he makes it happen. (Job 37:2-13) There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on earth nations will be in dismay, perplexed by the roaring of the sea and the waves. People will die of fright in anticipation of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. (Luke 21:25-26)

(Rivelazione 16:21) Ascolta la sua voce arrabbiata e il rombo che esce dalla sua bocca! Ovunque sotto i cieli lo manda, con la sua luce, fino ai confini della terra. Di nuovo la sua voce ruggisce, la sua maestosa voce tuona; non li trattiene quando si sente la sua voce. Dio tuona meraviglie con la sua voce; fa grandi cose oltre la nostra conoscenza. Dice alla neve: "Caduta in terra"; lo stesso vale per la sua pioggia fradicia. Chiude in casa tutta l'umanità, in modo che tutti possano conoscere il suo lavoro. Le bestie feroci si mettono al riparo e rimangono tranquille nelle loro tane. Dalla sua camera esce la tempesta; dai venti del nord, il freddo. Con il suo respiro Dio porta il gelo e le grandi acque si rapprendono. Anche le nuvole sono cariche di umidità, la nuvola di tempesta diffonde la sua luce.È lui che cambia il loro giro, secondo i suoi piani, per fare tutto ciò che comanda loro nel mondo abitato. Che sia per punizione o misericordia, lo fa accadere. (Giobbe 37: 2-13) Ci saranno segni nel sole, nella luna e nelle stelle, e sulla terra le nazioni saranno sbigottite, perplesse dal fragore del mare e delle onde. Le persone moriranno di paura in previsione di ciò che sta accadendo nel mondo, perché le potenze dei cieli saranno scosse. (Luca 21: 25-26)
